Rusty was born in September, 2007 and we adopted him from ARF when he was 10 weeks old. At the time we were down to one cat, and Ollie missed his good friends Whitey and Blackie. We thought that Rusty would be company for Ollie.

The kitten was soon completely at home with Tara and Ollie. Not so much the other way round though. Tara was really too old to play with the kitten, and Ollie was attacked incessantly by Rusty wanting to rough and tumble. After a couple of weeks, everyone knew their limits and are getting along just fine now.

Rusty is a very friendly and playful kitten. He enjoys people and likes to snuggle up with Ollie. He also loves the snow and doesn't mind walking or sitting in it. He will stay out in minus 15 degree weather and only come in when I go out and grab him.
